Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day Las Vegas was an exciting and unique experience, like so many other things in this city :)
The funniest thing I’ve seen was the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign on Las Vegas Strip, which… became green!
Those who celebrated St. Patrick’s Day 2015 in Las Vegas could find lots of FREE fun things to do! From March 13th to March 17th, Fremont Street Experience offered free concerts every day and a lot of other cool attractions.
My husband and I always like to participate in Irish parties, listen to Irish music and dance, so we went there yesterday, 15th of March, along with some friends.
Fremont Street Experience
None of us were prepared with our green-wear, and thought we’d feel a little out of place. But in the general euphoria nobody noticed that… :) However, if you want to be in tone with the festivity, there are quite a few vendors offering all kind of cool green stuff.
Beads are fun for women or men, but what do you think about these hats? :)
Well, Irish or not, I think that you should always wear something cool and green on this occasion. You can buy at least a souvenir, especially if you are a tourist in Las Vegas. After-all, celebrating St.Patrick’s Day on Fremont Street Experience is not something you can have everyday. And our friend Alicia thought so too :)
“Everyone’s Irish” on St.Patrick’s Day and the party starts at the D!” says the famous casino on Fremont Street Experience.
At The D casino you could get a FREE “I got Lucky” T-Shirt by playing any one of three things:
- Earn 100 points on slots
- Buy in for $100 on table games
- Wager $100 on live Keno
But the FREE fun was just about to start
Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day Las Vegas on Fremont Street Experience
The St.Patrick’s “ShamRock” Celebration offers five days of LIVE MUSIC with various famous bands. We were just in time to see the “Celtic Rockers” on the Main Street Stage.
Nobody could really stand still and just listen to the music, especially after 1 or 2 drinks :)
Similar shows play on all the 3 stages of Fremont Street Experience, at various hours and you can see more details on the VegasExperience site.
Now imagine seeing all this crowd and things happening from above, flying all the way from the high Slotzilla zip line tower and landing right on the roof of the main street stage! :)
Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day Las Vegas on the Linq Promenade – pictures
Still another place to have fun on St. Patrick’s Day, was the Linq Promenade.
Newspapers advertised this as the largest celebration in Las Vegas. It was supposed to include leprechaun parades, live bands, and fantastic food and drink specials. Part of those were true :)
Obviously we jumped from Fremont Street to the Linq Promenade, and this is what we’ve seen:

Bottom line, we had fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day Las Vegas in 2015 – See you here next year! :)
