After watching the Pawn Stars popular TV series, many people who visit Las Vegas go to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop out of curiosity, or just to see the “stars”… but the question is: Are the Pawn Stars real?
What I can tell you is that the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas IS real, and it’s quite a busy place. I can say this because I went to see it myself like many others :)
People go and take pictures of themselves in front of the shop all the day long, 7 days a week – yes, they are open.
I took this photo of the Pawn Stars in 2015, as it was shown on the wall outside of the shop:
Inside the shop
This is a photo of Rick Harrison, the owner of the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop Las Vegas as it is displayed inside the shop.
In fact, there is a whole section in the back of the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop dedicated to the Pawn Stars TV show.
What else you can see at the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas
Gold and Silver of course :)
As a matter of fact, the gold and silver (mainly jewelry) makes up the largest section of the shop. But there are many other interesting things to see and buy. Fine art and music items, antique guns, even war memorabilia are all displayed there. Well, it looks like “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” :)
The whole store is like a museum. I personally have never seen the stars in the store. From what I read however his IS a family business and apparently the Pawn Stars ARE real… You may need to check this out for yourself. – Who knows, you may be able to see them in reality :)
If you are in Las Vegas and you are curious about this famous shop, I’m suggesting you a guided tour.
